3 years old....

Our precious Grandbaby is 3 years old today. I can't believe it's been 3 years since Shaun called me from Italy to let me hear her cry....I cried for an hour I think - it was so sweet to hear that precious baby over the phone lines. I so wanted to be there with them.

It's been a great ride being grandparents - Mimi and Pops loves every minute we see those precious 2 children!!!

We pray for Kenzi every day - Kenzi Lynn you are our precious baby girl...and we love you more than life itself..

Shaun and Misti have done a great job with the kids and we are so glad that they are now in the states!!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Sweet Kenzi Lynn..Mimi and Pops love you baby girl...

It is April and oh how we are blessed!!! We went to the Ranger game on Saturday - fun times! Sat in the Lexus Club area - had our food brought to us! OMG - spoiled! Then to Spaghetti Warehouse in Downtown Dallas - love that place!

Church yesterday - awesome as usual then a jazz band Gary plays for "Souled Out" played at a Methodist Church in Sachse - amazing. My husband is the greatest and is a pretty awesome pianist!!!

Josh and I went to a job fair in Mesquite and I believe so did everyone else looking for a job!!! but we'll see.

38 days until school is out!!!! I love being at our school but I am anxious to get my own classroom for the fall!!!

Birthday Bashes

We so enjoyed Shaun, Misti, Kenzi and Peyton will they were here. They surprised me by coming in early!!! Loved it Loved it!!!!

We had the babies birthdays at our house and I loved having a ton of people over for pizza and cake. I think the kiddos were worn out but well worth it! Shaun - 30 Kenzi - 3 Peyton - 1 It was a Mickey Minnie theme and was so cute!

Then we went to Southern Junction for Shauns 30ths party and it was a blast as well....a host of family there to show Shaun their love.

Then we come to Easter weekend...words sometimes can't tell how we feel about God's sacrifice for us. I just love these verses:

Now as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside and said to them, "We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will turn him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!"

He died for us and was risen for the world to see he is God!!! I just can't fathom that but I love my God and my Jesus and hope that you have that personal relationship with them this Easter Weekend.
