Praise God!!!!

Our daughter-in-laws parents joined a small baptist church!!! They are getting involved and it's glorious! It is so good to hear about them making new friends at their new church. Her brothers and their families are there and Shaun and Misti will find a church they like when they are back in the states.

Another Week.....

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. ~Psalm 118:24

No matter what comes our way we should always praise God and rejoice what he as given us! So much is going on around us!!

We were sitting at lunch today - a group of middle school teachers - talking about our kiddos in today's time! Whew - they are tough. What happened to discipline? What happened to morals? What happened to respect your elders? Where did we all go wrong? Teaching today is tough! These kids and it's not all but an overwhelming few just are extremely tough, disrespectful, unruly yet have a loving side to them! Sometimes you just shake your head! Parents think - my kid would never do that! Ha Ha!!! And yes I have had parents tell me well you just have one side of the story and the story didn't include anyone else! lolol

I have to pray every morning that I have the patients that is needed to make it through the day and hopefully will show the children love and respect. I pray that my life is an example to each and every one of them.

Pray for our children everyday - they are our future and praise God if you "get" to work with children!

Back in the Swing of things.....

Time flies!!! Enough said! ha

We are all back into our routines of school and work and school and school and work. I should add church into that group because our church didn't have ABF for 2 weeks in December - and we missed 3 because we were practicing during ABF. I really like The Heights - I just wish it wasn't so far away from Heath!!!! Come on 190!!!

Chase is back at TJC for another semester. He says he is going to class this time lololol. I pray for him daily that he see how important college is in today's times!

Candace started nursing school last week and calls almost everyday with a new adventure!!! I love it.

My 27 hours is in progress - TAMU started back up this week. Boy I'm tired!

Gary is back into work - gotta love work!!!

We are through with the inauguration - I did watch it and thought the Bush Family was most gracious. I did not vote for Obama but I know that I am to life him up in prayer everyday and support him as our new President. I wish I knew what God's plan was for our country!!!!!!! But then I'd be God and I'm thinking that's not a good thing! lolol I am proud of the 43rd president and loved his little speech about his convictions and that he's the same person as when he started this venture 8 years ago!

All is back in the saddle in the Satterwhite Family!!

Happy New Year 2009

Well - we made it through 2008 and now it's 1/1/2009. Chase went back to Tyler this morning for training, Candace made it home after NYE in Big D. We spent the day with Mom, Dad, Kathy and Jerry Ivey and Candace and Brendan. It's been a great start to the New Year!

Talked to Shaun, Misti and Kenzi Lynn this morning. They were eating their black-eye peas and watching football games today! Kenzi is absolutely precious!!!!

We had a great party last night at our friends, the Fugitts with them and the Hill's bringing in the New Year. We had great food and played domin-yoes!!!! What a fun time!

I thank God for all the people that he has put in our paths! We have such wonderful friends, some new and some from way back that we are so fortunate to keep in touch with. Each and everyone of you are special in our hearts.I pray that 2009 is a great year for all - I know God has big things in store for us!

I pray that we all do our best to be what God wants us to be, do what God wants us to do and love like God wants us to love in 2009.

Blessings to you all!

Happy New Year!
